Who am I?
I was born 29 June 1940, in Sydney, and left school at 14 to enter the National Art School in East Sydney. After 5 years study, I commenced a highly successful career as an art director and designer in New York, London and Sydney. My first solo exhibition was held in Sydney in 1980. Since then,I have held over 50 one-man shows, including major exhibitions in Australia, Europe, Japan and the USA. My work has been described as the most original style to come out of Australia, and his paintings are in collections throughout the world. See me revealed at the “Famous of Mosman” exhibition soon…
Get ready for an exciting new exhibition by Graham Monro featuring local Mosman identities.
Being located in the village of Mosman has allowed us into the many lives of Mosman locals. We are privileged to photograph their families, homes, and pets and along the way.
”The idea for Famous of Mosman is to celebrate all the great people that live in Mosman. There are so many wonderful and talented people that I have met over the years here. Ken Done is my first portrait for this series. He is an absolute gem. A warm hearted charismatic artist! Ken is a dream to photograph- candid and engaging.”
Graham has embarked on a new personal project which will feature some prominent faces that you will know and also the other faces you may not know- that are famous amongst only the locals.
The exhibition will be shot throughout this year.

Lizzy Lovette & James Wicks’ beautiful “country chic” wedding features in the new issue of Real Weddings magazine.
The pair were married in a little church near Lizzy’s family’s farm in Wollombi. Lizzy says of the picturesque setting: “it is like something out of a Jane Austin novel – I had always dreamt of getting married there.”
Lizzy’s couture gown was designed by Steven Khalil and featured silk flower details on the bodice that fell into a full silk organza skirt. Her beautiful gown matched perfectly with her hand stitched “glamelia rose”, from Blondes Flores, featuring petals from over 35 roses. The blue-grey bridesmaid dresses, by Carla Zampatti, featured a similar rose design to compliment the theme.
We love Lizzy’s attention to detail from the cute pom poms hanging from the verandah to the 300 plus candles at their reception at Roberts Restaurant.
Lizzy’s dream team also includes cake by Faye Cahill, shoes by Christian Louboutin, rings by S Tremlett Jewellers, menswear by MJ Bale, stationary by Two Studio, hair & make-up by Petr Vackar, entertainment by Rob Monk and of course photography by gm photographics.

Zharine & Asher

A beautiful country side wedding full of classic glamour and pretty pinks. Zharine and Asher were married in St Jude’s Anglican Church in Bowral. Susan Stanford styled and coordinated their day with their reception held at Milton Park Country House Hotel.
Milton Park is a lovely venue full of secluded gardens, Zharine and Asher’s location shoot is just magical. Here’s a few of our favourites photos from their day.

Lauren & Andrew: Beach Engagement Shoot

Many of our couples are choosing to have an engagement shoot prior to their wedding day. It’s a great way to gain experience in front of the camera and end up with some great shots of you and your fiancé! Lauren and Andrew had their engagement shoot at North Curl Curl beach with their beautifully classic wedding held later at Jonah’s, Whale Beach. Lauren wore a beautiful Vera Wang gown, menswear by Peppers, flowers by Flirting with Flowers, cake by Heavenly Cakes, stationery by Bella Invites, hair & bride’s make-up by Simona Janek, bridesmaids & mothers make-up by Kerry Gentle, entertainment provided by Buzz Band and celebrant was Lee-Martin Seymour.

Tessa James & Nate Myles Melbourne wedding: A Sneak Peek

We had the privilege of recently photographing the gorgeous wedding of Tessa James, former Home & Away star, and NRL footballer, Nate Myles, two days before Christmas in Melbourne.
Arriving in a Rolls Royce with her father, Stephen, Tessa was simply breathtaking in her drop shoulder couture gown and veil designed by Steven Khalil. The dress which took over 6 months to create, featured Swarovski pearl beads, ostrich feathers and French lace. To compliment the French lace dress Tessa wore a vintage style blue brooch in her hair, which was a family heirloom that became her something borrowed something blue.
The couple chose the spectacular 100-year-old gardens of The Gables in East Malvern as the venue for their traditional wedding ceremony.
Exchanging rings, designed and made by Nader Jewellers, the couple giggled through a civil ceremony where they vowed to love and honour each other.
Celebrity wedding planner and stylist, Anthony Del Col from Staging Connections, planned the day with the theme of “natural romance’ which included gorgeous white florals and candles.
Their 150 guests then joined them at Tessa’s parent’s home in Hawthorn where they were treated to a variety of cocktails and canapes created by Ed Dixon Food Design. As the cocktail style party went on into the night Tessa changed into a stunning backless short dress, also designed by Steven Khalil, featuring scalloped French lace.
The lovely couple’s wedding was last week featured exclusively in New Idea magazine where Nate’s speech was quoted: “Honest to God, I tell her every day how lucky I am to have her and I will always love her to death. I don’t think I could love anyone as much as I do her”, and Tessa reflected on her wedding as “the best night”.
