Laura + Tim

6 November 2012

This classic and elegant wedding was so gorgeous that we had to share some images with everyone. Laura and Tim had been planning for this day ever since he proposed to her on a surprise visit to The Four Seasons in Paris, and the results were spectacular.

Married in the stunning gardens of Vaucluse House, followed by location photographs at Neilson Park the pair wanted to make the most of Sydney’s incredible outdoor landscapes. The reception at Quay made for the perfect venue and allowed Laura and Tim to add their personal Star Wars touch to the evening, which was capped off afterwards by Laura’s sister getting engaged! What a night, what a day to celebrate, and we hope you enjoy the images as much as they enjoy the memories!

Laura wore an elegant gown two piece ivory Monique Lhuillier gown with embroidered lace bodice and hand tufted skirt, which she described as “combining traditional elements with a modern and unique twist”. Her hair and make up by Rani K, flowers by Susan Avery which Laura says added “the classic and elegant touch”, cake by Faye Cahill, some wonderful entertainment by The Moods and Sydney wedding music, videography by Untitled Film Works, and photography by gm photographics.

Laura and Tim’s great advice for planning your own wedding day: “Planning a wedding is as stressful as everyone says that it is – so it’s really important to choose vendors who understand what you want and who you know you can trust.”
