Shoot the Chef!

Graham Monro has been selected as a finalist in the 10th annual Sydney Morning Herald Shoot the Chef! photographic competition. The competition calls for photographers to, quite simply, shoot a chef. It could be a three hat chef, the local take-away cook around the corner, or perhaps a favourite home cook. The winning images will be published in a special edition of Good Living on September 29 and will also be exhibited during the Sydney International Food Festival from October 1- 31, 2009 at Star City. Finalists will also be invited to the launch of the Sydney International Food Festival 2009 where the winners will be announced.

Graham Monro Finalist M.I.L.K International Photographic Competiton

Fresh M.I.L.K was a US $125,000 online competition that challenged photographers to capture spontaneous and emotive moments shared between friends, families and lovers around the world. Fresh M.I.L.K had 35,000 entries from photographers in 112 countries. Master Photographer, Graham Monro was one of the finalists.

Images selected include diverse two-dimensional photomedia from digital to darkroom and the documentary to the staged.
